Bathroom Breaks
I take them out every few hours at least in the double fenced area to the right
Do not let them out without keeping sight, they will dig very quickly
They do not need to be out for a long time. Once they get bored, they tend to start wanting to dig. Just walk towards them and say leave it if they seem to be interested in a spot in the grass.
Do not let them dig at the dirt areas, they will try
If you want to let them run in the back line, you must always be with them and DO NOT let them jump on the fence. Immediately yell at them DOWN
Please try to limit this since they are easily able to escape if they wanted to
Make sure that their collars are on them before letting them outside in either areas
We have GPS tracking so in case of emergency please reach out to us ASAP
Don't
Leave them unsupervised outside
Feed them human food. We are very strict on not letting them eat things.
Leave anything on counters, they will get to it
Leave them unsupervised in the house. If you are going out for more than a minute, please put them in crates.
Leave anything on floor even with expectation door is closed that is harmful like medicine, gum, etc
Do
Close bathroom and bedroom doors at all times
Keep pool door closed, they will destroy plants if left out in that pool area
Time in crates
I try not to leave them crated longer than 5 hours at max.
If for any reason you need to leave that long or longer, please let me know and I can organize our other walker to come check in on them and stay for 30 minutes to an hour.
Commands
Sit (Hand flat and parallel with the floor)
Lay (start with the sit, then rotate hand down towards the floor ending with all fingers pointing down. Sometimes it helps to lower your hand as you do it)
Stay (usually have them sit first, then tell them to stay. They suck at this one still)
In your beds (they will run to their crates. Arya is on left, Nymeria on right) Please give them one treat for going into their bed after you close the door. Remember to lock both hatches on top and bottom of door.
